Friends of Jones would like to welcome the students and parents of the incoming freshman class — the Class of 2021 — and all transfer students!
Friends of Jones is a parent-run, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization charged with generating enthusiasm, volunteers and funds on behalf of Jones College Prep. Every parent is automatically a member of Friends of Jones; there is no admission fee. We invite every incoming parent to get involved with us as a way to be a part of the school and learn more about its spirit of inclusion.
If you haven’t had a high schooler yet, take heed: high school only lasts four years — versus the eight or more you might have had at the elementary level — and it pays to jump in during your child’s freshman year.
Friends of Jones wants to make sure you get all the Jones College Prep information and news, so here is a crash course in how to get started:
Sign up for the Email Newsletter
The newsletter, published bi-weekly by our FOJ Commuications Chair, lets you know the latest news in the school. Read the archive of newsletters from the 2016/17 academic year here. You can sign up for the newsletter by selecting this link: Email Newsletter Sign up
This database is organized by student/graduating class. If you have students with multiple graduating years (ie, a freshman, and a junior), please register EACH of your students separately.

Attend a Friends of Jones Meeting
These are posted on the school calendar, and generally take place the second Tuesday of every month during the academic year at 8am in the school library. Meetings are open to the public, and we encourage you to visit!
